Since we moved into our new apartment, I really haven’t been entirely thrilled with my new photo solution. Our new apartment has this cream color carpet and when you lay stuff on it, it looks dingy against the clothes. I miss my beautiful floors in my old apartment. So, I decided to make my own flooring solution for under $30 to enhance my photos and increase the likelihood of a quick sale.

Here’s my solution to my flat lay floor solution under $30:

  • Fire board – You can find this at your local home depot. It cost’s around $19. We chose this over plywood because it chips and leaves residue and pieces all over the floor while this fireboard is nice, flat, and durable.

  • Individual peel and stick tiles – They have this in different prints and textures! It literally just peels off and it’s super sticky! You can make it any shapes and size, too! How great is that?
