I truly believe the best way to sell more items is to diversify into different selling platforms. I know it is more work to list them multiple places, track the sales and make sure you aren’t selling the same item twice – but it does help your bottom line.
Recently I started branching out into Mercari, which is another popular selling platform site like Poshmark and eBay. Just like the other selling sites, there are pros and cons to Mercari as well. The biggest perk is the 10% commission they take but with lag times in getting your money and some other pitfalls with their platform, it really is an individualized decision on if you want to sell on there.
When I finally got my groove with all of these reseller websites, I ended up listing my items on at least 6 of them! At first, it was great because I made consistent sales, but I never really got the hang of any of them. Each one was a distraction from the other one and I really needed to focus on 1-2 to drive my sales upwards.
